SeaWorld Orlando made a surprising announcement this week, with their entrance into the Halloween fright festivities! Up until now, those have been reserved for Busch Gardens Tampa (Howl-O-Scream) and Universal Studios Orlando (Halloween Horror Nights). Howl-O-Scream will take place at SeaWorld Orlando on select nights between September 10th and October 31st.
Things to note:
- This is a SEPARATELY TICKETED event. Your daytime admission ticket or annual pass will not get you entrance to HOWL-O-SCREAM*.
- This event is for mature audiences. Do not bring your young children, please.
- Spooktacular, the daytime children’s event, is still planned (and IS included with your SeaWorld admission.
- No costumes allowed
- Special adult beverages will be on sale during the event.
This will be an adult themed event with lots of violence, gore, blood, and just some very scary stuff for Halloween. If you think this might be too intense for you, maybe stick to SeaWorld’s milder Halloween event during the day – Spooktacular. Spooktacular is primarily trick-or-treating (yes, even adults), and mild Halloween themed decorations and costumed characters (think mermaids).
It sounds like there will be haunted houses, a special themed bar, and some type of show. The hours for this event are 7 pm – 2 am Fridays & Saturdays, and 7 pm – 12 am Thursdays & Sundays.
Do you plan on checking out SeaWorld for Halloween? If so, head on over to our facebook page and let us know your thoughts! We will definitely be attending and will take lots of pictures and video to share!
*There is always a possibility of Platinum Passholders receiving a few free days, as has been announced for Busch Gardens.
